NWREC Announces new Insulation Rebate for its memebers

Program to run from April 1 until December 31, 2009
Insulation must be professionally installed, blown-in type
The building to be insulated must have electric heat as the primary system
One rebate per structure
30% of the installed cost will be rebated with a $500 maximum rebate (this is in addition to the 30% tax credit allowed by the government)
We will need a copy of the invoice by the installer and a form completed and returned to any of our offices. Call or stop in for a form.

Energy Tip of the Month

: Before the air conditioning season gets into full-swing, be sure and have your system checked for peak operating efficiency. Don’t forget to change that filter in your furnace and wash the coil on the outdoor unit, after shutting off the breaker.
