North West REC is excited about offering WildBlue, a high speed satellite internet service. This two-way, always-on, broadband internet service is a great solution for our rural areas where no other forms of broadband service are available. Deployment of the service began in June 2005.

The installed equipment costs are $299 plus tax. Customers will be required to sign a 12-month service agreement.

There are three different packages available:

• Value Pac: $49.95 per month - Download Speeds of up to 512 kbps
• Select Pac: $69.95 per month - Download Speeds of up to 1.0 mbps
• Pro Pac: $79.95 per month - Download Speeds of up to 1.5 mbps
